Respected Sir/Madam, With deep concern, we bring to your attention the continuing wave of farmer suicides in regions like Vidarbha and Marathwada. Despite being India's agricultural backbone, thousands of farmers are pushed into debt, despair, and death due to inadequate Minimum Support Prices (MSP), erratic rainfall, mounting loans, and lack of irrigation. 🔗 [Reference: Maharashtra farmer suicides crisis] We humbly request the following immediate measures: Ensure MSP enforcement for all major crops. Expand agricultural loan waivers to genuinely distressed farmers. Introduce irrigation and water-conservation infrastructure at the taluka level. Provide psychological counseling and crisis helplines for farmers. This is a matter of human dignity, economic survival, and moral responsibility.
